Megazone is home to New Zealand’s ultimate Laser Tag arena. Step into our two-level, futuristic combat arena amongst the smoke and laser lights and test your skill, wit, fitness and courage against an enemy team who is looking to destroy your base!

To emerge victorious from the Megazone Laser Tag arena you must evade mines, blast your enemies destroy the opponents base while keeping yours safe. An end of the game battle report counts up all of the individual statistics including game score, accuracy, number of times tagged, how many times you tagged others and who the game’s winner is!

Megazone Laser Tag is the ideal venue for birthday parties for any age, youth and social groups, corporate events, team building exercises or just for a bit of fun over the school holidays!

Our arena can handle up to three teams of ten players at a time. We  boast one of the most exciting Laser Tag mazes.

Instructions and Playing Tips

Laser Tag is a non-contact sport that is completely safe for anyone aged 6 and over, or over 1.1 metres in height.

Before the game starts, players will watch a 5 minute video briefing that explains the basics of how the game is played and the rules and regulations. Megazone prides itself in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for every player - you can relax knowing that your in the best hands for your children’s birthday party.

All players must be wearing covered footwear. (no sandals, jandals, barefeet or high heels). Sneakers or running shoes only
